Kimberley Kampers for USA Customers
Previously we
sold through selected dealers but we found the geographical spread of
buyers made it hard to sustain the volume through a Dealership.
This was compounded by an exchange rate of the $A to the US$ close to
parity. Since the global commodities markets have weakened the $A has
reduced in value offering an excellent opportunity for customers to buy
now at an exchange rate of circa 0.65 representing a 35% price reduction
in US$.
We have
therefore packaged a purchase and delivery method for customers wishing
to purchase our unique off road accommodation products.
There are
selected models which are available for the USA market with electric
brakes, full 110V outlets and battery charger/12V converters that are
sourced in USA. All the 12V pumps and tap fittings are USA sourced and
the latches and harware catches are generally Southco, a California
company. The Diesel Airheater. Diesel hot water and diesel cooktop are
all supported by Webasto in Michigan who are a major supplier to the US
auto Industry. In summary, support is not an issue.
